The project is the result of cooperation of a number of participants from both sides of the border, according to Franc Malečkar, and are announcing new joint challenges: "A number of people added their grain of knowledge – mountaineers on trails on both sides of the border, those nature-oriented on what can be seen along the trails, the Slovenian society from Italy and Cultural Society Fameia Muiesana with their explanations of toponomy."

Malečkar added that the synergy of the knowledge of the area contributed by those participating in the project had resulted in a map, but he would like to upgrade the project with a tourist guide book of the Muggia peninsula.
The map published last month in four languages describes eight hiking and two cycling trail. The folder on dendrological heritage was published in the local bulletin, describing 14 out of more than 30 old trees giving the character to the settlement and its surroundings.
