On the 30th anniversary of the outbreak of the siege of Sarajevo, regarded as the longest besiege of any city in modern history, we have captured the moving testimonies of the people who survived nearly four years of occupation. What was life like without electricity, without water, without food, with the constant threat of death looming over them from the surrounding hills with all manner of weapons?
