Only Johann Andre Forfang from Norway managed to place between the two Slovenians, with 7.5 points behind Prevc. Thus during this season Prevc won 14 times, and became the sole record holder with 2,123 points. He broke the record set by Gregor Schlierenzauer in 2008/2009 season (13 victories, 2,083 points). Prevc stood on the podium twenty times; this feat was achieved only by Schlierenzauer seven winters ago.

»For me every victory is special, but this time it was even better, completed by Robi Kranjec. I don't remember another occasion when more than 20,000 spectators arrived already on Thursday. On the top, at the in-run you can hear everything, while at the bottom there is pandemonium,« Prevc said after securing his 20th victory with his flights of 223.0 and 232.5 metres. Thus he made another step towards winning the special ski-flying cup, already having 122-point advantage ahead of Forfang.

Three other Slovenian ski flyers won the points: Jurij Tepeš placed 8th, Jaka Hvala 26th, and Anže Semenič 29th. The match was organized to replace the cancelled match in Titisee Neustadt. Noriaki Kasai celebrated a special jubilee, his 500th appearance in the world cup. Kasai placed 6th, and wore a bib with the number 500.
