With it, we wish to pay homage to the best new Slovenian music, change it into arrangements of the Big Band of RTV Slovenia and highlight it on our radio, television and online channels.

10 songs (released in the past 12 months!) were selected at the suggestion of the music editors of Radio Maribor and Radio Si.

The selected songs will be arranged by the Big Band of RTV Slovenia and performed at the event, which will take place on September 16, 2023 in the Grand hall of SNG Maribor. The pop music event will be moderated by actor Jure Ivanušič. Conferred at the event will be the award for the "Best New Slovenian Song" of the past year, as chosen by our listeners.

The event will be performed in front of a live audience. Live broadcast also on Radio Si and TV Slovenija.

Voting for the "Best New Slovenian Song" will take place between August 21 and September 13, on this website. The winner will be announced at the event.
