Clean-up efforts are underway across the country following the devastating floods and landslides. The number of deaths related to the heavy storms has risen to six. The army has managed to restore land communication with Črna na Koroškem in the Carinthia region, but some houses and settlements in northern Slovenia are still cut off. Meanwhile in the north-east of the country the water levels of the Mura River have started falling. Infrastructure Minister Alenka Bratušek said the floods will change some of the government's investment priorities, and that certain transport projects would have to be suspended. Many roads, bridges and railroads were damaged or destroyed during the storms.
