The parliamentary Culture Committee debated the budget for culture amid measures to contain the coronavirus epidemic in Slovenia.
Organisations representing more than 100,000 people working in culture called against culture budget cuts during this time.
According to them, culture is a field that is financially very much undernourished as it is.
Their demands were sent in a letter to the government.
