The Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport welcomed its one millionth passenger this year - a month earlier than in 2023.
The number of passengers is expected to reach some 1.4 million by the end of the year, which is higher compared to the end of last year, but 92% compared to pre-Covid years.
However, Ljubljana airport said the current routes to Istanbul, Zürich, Brussels, Warsaw, Belgrade, and Skopje have exceeded pre-pandemic numbers.
The most popular destinations so far this year have been Istanbul, London, Frankfurt, Zürich and Paris.
