The new Slovenian government was sworn in last night. New PM Robert Golob said he was proud to head the 15th Slovenian government. The left-liberal government, is a coalition of the Freedom Movement, the SD Social Democrats and the Left. The new government team will initially have 17 ministers, three of whom without portfolio. New PM Golob said the cabinet's immediate priorities will be tackling the rising food and energy prices, along with making preparations for the next Covid wave, which is expected in the autumn. Just hours after taking office last night the government named new heads of the intelligence agency, the police, and the Government Communication Office.
