Speaking on the fringes of a NATO summit in Washington, Prime Minister Golob said that the decision-making process between the army and the Ministry for Defence was coming to an end and that the best offer had come from Patria.

He added that the defence ministers of both countries would speak directly during the process of acquiring the vehicles and that transparency on the deal would be of the highest order.

The financial details of the deal have not yet been released and the number of vehicles that will be bought has also not been revealed.
