Slovenia celebrates Renunification with Primorska region

Slovenia celebrates today the 72nd anniversariry since the implementation of the Paris peace treaty when most of this region was returned to Slovenia. They were part of fascist state Italy between 1920 and 1947. The ceremony is traditionally held on the eve before the Reunification day and it is organised by local communities and war veteran associations. This year's festivity was held in Ajdovščina. The keynote speaker was Slovenias prime minister Marjan Šarec and he pointed out among others that people of Primorska wanted to speak, read and write in Slovneian.
