Around 1,000 officials, executives and academics from 70 countries are attending the event. This year's motto is "New Reality".

Slovenia's leadership is at the forum, as well as EU Commission vice-President Frans Timmermans and EU's foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini.

Arriving at the summit Mr. Timmermans also commented the border arbitration ruling, and called on Slovenia and Croatia to implement the agreement.
