Justice minister candidate Andreja Katič, who aspired to restore trust in Slovenia's justice system, and Ksenija Klampfer, the nominee for labour minister, were among the first to be backed.

Also being questioned were Karl Erjavec, a nominee for defence minister, Andrej Bertoncelj, a nominee for finance minister, and Zdravko Počivalšek, a nominee for economy minister.

Rudi Medved has been nominated for the post of public administration minister after PM Marjan Šarec decided to withdraw his previous nominee Tugomir Kodelja.
