The 17th annual summit of agriculture and food industry took place in Bled today.

The main focus of this year's meeting was the question what companies in the sector need to do to stay in good shape. It was an opportunity for agriculture and food industry and representatives of the government and international institutions to meet with and listen to presentations by Slovenian and foreign experts on topical issues. At the meeting, stakeholders, including the relevant national chambers and two university-based incubators, also signed a declaration on cooperation, aimed at boosting innovativeness, entrepreneurship and competitiveness of the agri-food sector.
