More than 1,000 participants took part in discussions, with innovation and leadership being at the forefront of the final day of the forum.

Attending were also first Vice-President of the European Commission Frans Timmermans and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Frederica Mogherini. The couple also visited the National Assembly to discuss topical EU issues in separate meetings with relevant parliamentary committees.

Both reiterated that the EU expects Slovenia and Croatia to implement the border arbitration decision, expressing belief that the decision was important for the stability of the Western Balkans.
