The Maribor Festival, which focuses on classical music, opens today. Organizers promise a rich program from "Romantic Chopin to wild Transylvania«. This year's festival will pay tribute to Janko Šetinc, a pianist who gave the initiative for the festival back in 1968. Among this year's performers will be pianists Alexander Gadjiev and Simon Trpčeski, as well as the Transylvania State Philharmonic Orchestra. The Maribor Festival runs until the 24th of September.
