Compliance with the recovered-vaccinated-tested rule will be mandatory for attending university lectures in the next academic year.

The Health ministry's Covid-19 advisory group proposed the same rule for secondary schools, but "everyone wishes to move forward with the gradual model", Health Ministry State Secretary Franc Vindišar said.

The same proposal for self-testing goes for the last three grades of Primary school. If Slovenia enters tier red secondary school students will need the Covid certificate.

National Institute of Public Health head Milan Krek also called on youths to get vaccinated.
