Cyberfraud is on the rise in Slovenia. There has already been a 12% rise this year, with nearly 3,000 reported cases. Some 50 cases of ransomware cases were recorded – including an attack on Lekarna Ljubljana, in which hackers demanded 2.4 million euros to unlock the companies files.
The company managed to restore its files using backups.
