The European Commission has slightly upgraded the GDP growth outlook for Slovenia to 3.3% for this year and 3.1% in 2018. Structural deficit projection has also improved. The latest GDP forecast is an improvement from the 3% annual growth rate projected for Slovenia for this year and the next in February. The outlook puts the country substantially above the average for the euro area and the EU.
