An entire primary school in Velenje remained closed today after around two-thirds of its teachers, who got vaccinated, reported side effects. 26 teachers from the school took sick leave today due to strong reactions after taking AstraZeneca vaccine. Most of the teachers reported having strong headaches, dizziness, high fever and nausea. However, the head of the national Covid-19 advisory team, Mateja Logar, said the reported side effects are normal, that there's no reason not to get vaccinated, and that all the vaccines have been put through trials. At the same time a number of EU countries, including Austria, Denmark and Norway, have temporarily suspended the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine out of precaution.
