Response teams yesterday started pumping out the remaining fuel to prevent further leakage. No one has been injured in the accident. Railway traffic, including from the Koper port, is not expected to resume before Friday. According to the water supply system operator in Koper, the supply in south-western Slovenia is safe and under control. Despite this, the operator still advised people living there to conserve water, explaining that the kerosene will reach the groundwater eventually.
