Everyone returning from Croatia to Slovenia has to go into a 14-day quarantine.
The rule went into effect at midnight last night. There are exceptions to the quarantine rules, including for diplomats, those who have medical appointments, migrant workers and athletes. Owners of boats and real estate are allowed to go into Croatia for 48 hours only.
The government says around 60,000 Slovenians returned from Croatia between Saturday and Monday. The head of the Covid-19 task force Bojana Beović, expects the number of new cases to be lower now, as the number of imported cases will start to decrease. Slovenia had 21 new coronavirus cases yesterday and no coronavirus related fatalities.
