Pipistrel said that within Textron, the company will have access to much more resources, technical and regulatory know-how, and a global sales network, which will speed up its development and certification procedures.

Pipistrel founder and CEO Ivo Boscarol will remain a minority owner. The sale is expected to be concluded in the second quarter of this year.
