They join 294 other cities worldwide, of which 77 have joined since the start of September.

The members of the network undertake to develop into a learning city and promote a culture of lifelong learning, as well as sharing their experience and best practices.

Laško, Ptuj and Ljubljana are the first Slovenian towns or cities to be accepted into the network.
