Slovenian singer-songwriter has been awarded the Ježek Award for comedy and satire by public broadcaster RTV Slovenija.

He has been on the country's cultural scene for more than 40 years. He has collaborated with a number of groups and singers, penning numerous hit songs.

Mef is also known for organising music events and TV shows. He has also worked as a reporter, radio host and commentator.

Mef will receive the accolade on 5 November.
