Foreign Minister Anže Logar hosted his Italian counterpart Luigi Di Maio in Ljubljana today.
The pair agreed that the border between both countries would be opened very soon.
Logar said he was looking forward to 15 June with optimism, a date which had also been set by the EU Commission.
According to him, Slovenia has been following the health situation in Italy very closely.
