Analyst from the Office for Macroeconomic Analysis and Development, Marjan Hafnar said such a large monthly inflation decrease was influenced by lower increases in prices of housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels.

The main driver of inflation was the higher price of food, which increased by over 12%. Package holidays and recreational services also contributed to inflation.

Analysts however estimate inflation is expected to slow down in the second half of the year.
