Slovenian football champions NK Celje started their UEFA Conference League campaign with a 3:1 away loss to Portugal's Vitoria Guimaraes.
The Portuguese team led 2:0 at halftime. The only goal for Celje was scored by Aljoša Matko in the last minutes of the match.
Celje plays its second group match on the 24th of October, when it hosts Istanbul Basaksehir.
