Slovenia’s vaccination program is kicking into high gear today. As of today, vaccines will be available to all adults under the age of 50, although the elderly will have priority.
An app allowing people to sign up for vaccines has been released. Some 30,000 people registered in the first two days.
According to data, about 25% of the country has gotten its first jab. Some 12% are fully vaccinated. The goal, according to officials, is fully vaccinate at least 60% of the population in order to achieve herd immunity.
