Mastnak finished just a fraction of a second behind Karl Benjamin from Austria and almost a second before Andreas Prommegger who is also from Austria. Of other Slovenian contenders Žan Košir finished as 8th and Rok Marguč didn’t qualify. In the women’s competition the only Slovenian contender Gloria Kotnik unfortunately fell ill and couldn’t participate.
