Authorities are still assessing the damage done by a series of storms. The north was hit by storms yet again yesterday.
Initial estimates show that some 100,000 cubic meters of timber were knocked down or damaged yesterday. The total in the last week is believed to be around 450,000 cubic meters.
Many local roads are still closed.
The Forest Service warned that the weather was still very unpredictable, so owners should start inspecting their forests and perform clean-up work only after the situation calms down.
