Every day ten people die because of smoking in Slovenia, the public health institute announced today.
They also said that tobacco-related deaths cost Slovenia 5% of its GDP.

The institute also said that one in four people who die because of tobacco, die before the age of 60.
The director of the institute called for even higher tobacco prices and more restrictions.
The Slovenian men's team are currently 3rd in the world rankings, behind Poland and Japan.
