A welcome home - Dobrodošli doma 2024 - event for Slovenes from across the world is being held in Celje today.
The program features art exhibitions, book presentations, and a screening of a short film.
Ana Marija Mrak from Rafael’s Society, one of the organizers of the event, says more than half a million Slovenes live outside Slovenia.
The central event was held in center of Celje, showcasing 12 folk and vocal groups coming from Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, North Macedonia, Germany, and Argentina.
