Clocks in Slovenia were turned back early this morning at 3am, which marks the start of the winter time. It meant one extra hour of sleep for many.
The clock changes continue four years after the European Commission proposed the abolishment of clock turning, which was welcomed by the majority of member states. However, EU countries can't agree which time to keep, as some countries want to use the summer daylight saving time, while others prefer the winter time.
