The Slovenian Handball Association has confirmed it sacked Veselin Vujović, the head coach of the men's national handball team.
Vujović, 58, had led Slovenia to bronze at the 2017 World Championship and to a seventh place at the Rio Olympics in 2016.
The Montenegrin coach was appointed in 2015.
One of the main triggers for Vujović's sacking was his outburst at the Croatian champions match in Zagreb when he verbally attacked Slovenian wrestler Alex Vlach.
His successor will be appointed by mid-December.
