In the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League, Slovenian football champions NK Olimpija Ljubljana drew 1:1 against the champions of Bulgaria, Ludogorets last night. Playing away Olimpija took the lead after a goal by Timi Max Elšnik, but failed to win the match. The return leg will be played on Tuesday in Ljubljana.
Meanwhile today NK Maribor and Celje play in the 2nd round of the Europa Conference League. In the first leg NK Maribor travels to Luxembourg to play against DC Differdange 03, while Celje play at home against Portugal's Vitoria SC.
