Slovakian skier Petra Vlhova won today's World Cup slalom competition in Kranjska Gora.

It was the 3rd year in a row that the Golden Fox event had to be moved from Maribor due to warm weather.

Switzerland's Wendy Holdener, who was in the lead after the first run, finished second overall. Anna Swenn Larsson of Sweden completed the podium.

The best placed Slovenian skier was Ana Bucik in 5th place, her best ever finish in the slalom discipline.

After the race she said that she was happy, especially with her second run.
