As the number of new coronavirus infections in Slovenia keeps declining, the easing of lockdown measures continues.

Public transport in Slovenia will be relaunched on Monday.

Passengers will need to wear a mask and will only be allowed to enter the buses at the back door. Disinfectants will need to be installed on buses and trains, which passengers will have to use upon entry and before exiting the bus. Infrastructure Minister Jernej Vrtovec added that distance of at least 1.5 meters between passengers is recommended and that vehicles will also need to be aired out thoroughly and disinfected at the end of their routes.

Carriers have voiced their disagreement with the measures.

Passengers can get more information on public transport by dialing 01 478 85 12.
