A number of European countries, including Slovenia, have decided to close their airspace to Russian flights in response to Russia's attack on Ukraine.
Slovenia, Estonia, Latvia, and Romania announced that they too are now banning flights from Russia, joining the Czech Republic, Poland, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Germany, Finland and the UK in doing so.
That means Russian Aeroflot flights between Ljubljana and Moscow are now suspended.
As a counter-measure Russia said it is also closing its airspace to Slovenia and other countries banning its flights.
