Slovenia played its last match at the European Handball Championship today.
In the battle for 5th place Slovenia finished 6th, losing to Hungary with 22:23.
Slovenia won five and lost three matches at this year's tournament. Slovenia's best result ever was finishing 2nd in 2004.
Slovenia’s next big event will be the qualification tournament in March for this summer’s Olympic Games.
