Starting on Monday Covid passes are no longer required in Slovenia.
That means people will no longer have to show proof of vaccination, recovery or a negative covid test to enter banks, post offices, libraries, museums, gas stations, bars, restaurants and other closed areas, with the only exception being hospitals, social care institutions and prisons.
Testing in schools is also being scrapped, but masks are still required in schools, as well as in all indoor public spaces and transport services.
Slovenia also opened its borders today as Covid passes are no longer required for entry to the country. Those who have been in contact with a person infected with Covid-19 will also no longer have to go into quarantine.
