Dozens of Slovenian filmmakers have urged the government to release overdue budget funds and boost and streamline film funding.
It comes as the coronacrisis has severely affected the country's film and television production.
Filmmakers believe that next to Covid-19, red tape and lack of government efforts have also worsened the situation.
According to them, film production had been suspended not just because of lockdown but also due to the halting of payments.
They met at the 23rd Festival of Slovenian Film in the Ljubljana Komuna cinema.
