Fraport Slovenia has said that more than 130 flights will depart from Ljubljana's Jože Pučnik Airport in Brnik each week during the summer season, which starts today.

Finnair has returned after a 3-year hiatus with flights to the Finnish capital Helsinki.

Aegean Airlines is also one of the carriers that will operate, with flights to Athens.

Other destinations during the summer season include Belgrade, Brussels, Dubai, Frankfurt, Munich, Amsterdam, Warsaw, Zurich, Podgorica and Pristina.

Charter flights will also serve some of the Greek islands as well as Egypt, Turkey and Spain.
