A final agreement is not expected before tomorrow, which is the original deadline, as several issues remain unresolved.

Minister of public administration Sanja Ajanović Hovnik said it is crucial to reach an agreement and submit the law for processing by the end of September or mid-October in order to be able to begin implementing the agreed-upon measures by the first of January next year.

The focus of today's discussions will include the translation to the new salary scale and the mechanism for aligning the values of salary grades.
