A large wooden statue of US President Donald Trump was burned to the ground.
The statue had just recently been moved to the town of Moravče, about 30 kilometers east of Ljubljana. Town officials had hoped it would boost tourism to the area. Instead it was burned to the ground by unknown perpetrators.
he controversial statue was initially erected in the town of Selo but then moved to Moravče, where it was almost immediately vandalized with a Hitler mustache. While authorities were able to fix that, it is now been destroyed beyond repair.
