Slovenia is hoping to loosen restrictions on the NLB bank as part of its privatization.
In 2013, the government committed to offloading 75% of its share in the bank. Slovenia wants to complete the privatisation as planned, but wants to lift the obligation to sell the bank's insurance department by the end of the year.
