Bled is hosting the Winter Swimming World Championships this week. This is the second time for Lake Bled to host the championship - this year's as a replacement for Russia's Petrozavodsk. Around 1,000 participants from 31 countries have registered for the event. Apart from Europe, swimmers also come from Argentina, Mongolia and Morocco. The participants will checked out the water with test swims today. Swimmers will compete in 17 disciplines from Tuesday to Saturday.
