The organization said the meat came to Slovenia via a German supplier in a kebab shipment and will be destroyed. Veterinary inspectors are now investigating whether more potentially tainted meat has made its way to Slovenia. The director general of the Food Safety Administration said they are not excluding the possibility of finding more batches of the tainted meat.

According to the EU's food and feed safety alert network, the potentially tainted meat has so far been discovered in 13-member states.
