In Slovenia, carnival processions were underway in a number of cities today celebrating the carnival weekend. A big carnival parade led by a big green dragon took place in the capital Ljubljana today. Carnival masks also filled the streets of Litija, Koper, and Lenart.
The carnival festivities will culminate tomorrow with traditional processions in Cerknica, Cerkno, and the the biggest international parade in Slovenia's oldest town Ptuj.
