Interior Minister Aleš Hojs defended himself in parliament yesterday and will remain minister.
Opposition parties brought a motion to oust him after the interior ministry overturned a ban by a controversial Croatian nationalist singer. The minister said the motion was an attempt to smear him ideologically, as he had nothing at all to do with Croatian collaboraters in WW2.
The opposition parties had little chance of success and managed to get 38 votes, well below the 46 needed.
