Janša received suspended sentence for insulting 2016 tweet

A panel of judges of the Celje District Court today found Prime Minister Janez Janša guilty of defaming two journalists. In a 2016 tweet, Janša called them "washed up prostitutes".

Janša got a three-month suspended sentence and is also to cover the costs of the court proceedings. However, the ruling is not final yet.
